**REMINDER** FEMA Mitigation E-Grants Tribal Training 6/1/2016 10am-12pm PST

From: Heather Duschell, FEMA Region IX, Tribal Liaison (Heather.Duschell@fema.dhs.gov)

Please join FEMA Region IX in this Mitigation E-Grants Tribal Training through Adobe Connect onWednesday, June 1, 2016 at 10:00am to 12:00pm PST.  The intended audience for this training are tribes that:

  • Are applying or have already applied to the FY ’16 PDM and/or FMA Grants
  • Have a current Hazard Mitigation Plan
  • Have an expired Hazard Mitigation Plan that you’d like to update
  • Have experience with or been previously awarded PDM or FMA Grants

For tribes that may not have this level of PDM and/or FMA Grants or Mitigation planning experience, but are interested in applying for them in the future, FEMA Region IX will be developing an introductory PDM/FMA Grants Application Workshop in the coming months.  This will allow less experienced tribes the opportunity to gain a foundational understanding of these grant programs to be able to apply next year.
